ERA’s Leadership Experience empowers the next generation to discover their purpose. Through youth leadership councils, mentorship, hands-on experiences, and community engagement, we equip young people with the skills, character, and vision to become influential leaders.
Leadership Experiences
ERA Afterschool gives students a safe, engaging place to learn, create, and grow beyond the school day. Students receive homework assistance and tutoring, participate in performing arts including music, theatre, dance, and short film, and enjoy nutritious meals to keep them fueled and ready to learn.

ERA’s Summer and Winter Youth Conferences are engaging experiences designed to help young people discover their purpose, develop leadership skills, build confidence, and form meaningful relationships. Through inspiring speakers, interactive workshops, activities, and group experiences, youth are encouraged to grow personally and become positive leaders in their schools and communities. In partnership with local churches and community organizations, ERA creates welcoming conference experiences that bring young people together around leadership, character development, service, purpose, and personal growth.

Get ready for the 2026 ERA Winter Basketball League! Our 8-week season will bring youth athletes together for competitive basketball, skill development, teamwork, and an exciting game-day experience. From opening tip to championship weekend, it’s time to compete, grow, and step into your ERA!
Meet the Founders
As former athletes, Caleb Rogan and Tracy Mayes understand that some of life’s greatest lessons are learned beyond the classroom.
Sports taught them discipline, resilience, teamwork, confidence, and how to keep going when things didn’t go as planned. Through Caleb’s work as Founder and Executive Director of Rocklife Youth, they also saw firsthand the impact that mentorship, access, and meaningful opportunities can have on a young person’s life.
They recognized that every young person needs a place to discover what makes them come alive. For some, that place is the court or field. For others, it’s a stage, a microphone, a dance floor, or behind a camera.
ERA was founded to expand those opportunities.
Building on the heart of Rocklife Youth’s work, Caleb and Tracy created ERA around the belief that sports and the arts are more than activities—they are powerful tools for developing young people. ERA gives the next generation a place to discover their gifts, develop their confidence, find their voice, and become leaders.
Because the ultimate goal isn’t simply to create better athletes or better artists. It’s to develop young people who are prepared to lead, serve, and live with purpose.
